Mission
Molding believers, influencing the world
To reach out to the lost with the Word of God and prayer, enlighten, empower, and disciple believers through the worship, prayer, fellowship, study of the Word of God and applying the biblical truths by the enablement of the Holy Spirit.
– (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:12-16)
Vision
Molding believers, influencing the world
To raise an army of believers who will express the glory of God through God’s righteousness and justice.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
“But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream” (Amos 5:24).
“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face” (Psalms 89:14).
Values
Molding believers, influencing the world
- Love: To be in God is to walk in love. God has called us to extend His love to all.
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” – 1 John 4:16 - Sacrifice: As believers we have been called to holiness (set apart unto God). We live a life of sacrifice and purity to host the presence of the holy God in us.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” – Romans 12:1-2 - Worship: God is seeking for us to worship Him in truth and in spirit. We, therefore, owe God a lifestyle of worship
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:23-24 - Unity: Until there is unity in the body of Christ, the church will be ineffective in its mandate on earth. We are committed to pursuing unity among believers to ensure the fulness of God’s glory is seen on the earth through the church.
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 12:12 - Discipleship: As a ministry, we are committed to training, and equipping believers by the Holy Spirit with the tools required to express God’s glory on the earth.
“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2
A Diverse and Inclusive Community
Our curriculum appeals to student diversity and interest, and is rigorous and challenging. We understand each child comes to us with different talents, learning styles, and identities. And we celebrate that difference because our diversity is our strength.
Community is everything at Corlears. It’s who we are and how things get done. Everyone here is motivated by a deep commitment to making sure each child and family feels welcome and included. When everyone feels like they belong, we are stronger and smarter together. We’re a community driven to make the world a better place—starting in our own backyard.
